What is a Gathering Party

Gathering parties are designed as a fun way to help build community among grade level parents as well as raise funds and donations for the annual Casino Night and Auction.  Each gathering party is hosted by three to four grade level parents. Guests attending your class party are expected to donate $25 per person or donate a quality gift of at least a $50 value or more, per family at the door.  The hosts/co-hosts are not expected to bring a gift or donate the $25 per person.  However they are responsible for providing all of the food, refreshments, invitations, mailings and other incidentals for the party.  Guests should not be asked to bring food or refreshments.  Contact Jill Lenox (816) 523-6238 if you are interested in hosting a Gathering Party.                     

Sticking around for 2010:  If Gathering Party guests (per family) donate $100.00 or a gift valued at $100.00 or more their name will be placed in a drawing to receive one child’s registration to St. Elizabeth School paid for the 2009 school year.  Completed donation forms MUST be turned in when the Gathering Party items are collected (usually the Sunday following the Gathering Party).  Non-transferable.
